Dan and his wife Jackie live on a small ranch in Orange County, California. Their two daughters, husbands and five grandchildren keep them very busy. They have two retired cutting horse and just added a mustang mare to their "herd".

As a child growing up in Montreal Canada, Dan showed early signs of artistic talent. This lead his parents to gather up all seven of their children and relocate to Southern California in hopes of educational opportunities in art for Dan. During his school-age years he received many awards for his art, which continued throughout his college years, working on a fine art degree. Dan transition his major from fine art to architecture and business which allowed him to earn a successful living in the building industry, though he continued to experiment in many artist mediums.

Dan's serious passion for the arts returned to him to fine art as a major focus in his life. He desired to expand into new territories which led him to join Journeay Studios in Lake Forest, California. His exposure there to the intense study of color spawned many new ideas and techniques.

With his love of the West and the western way of life, Dan is today drawn to create paintings of Western Landscapes and Western Themes which include cattle, horses and rodeo.

He is proud to present his first series of paintings for the enjoyment of those who also love the west. His first show will be in Indio, California followed by a full schedule of shows in the coming year.
